
About Our Classes
We currently run classes in Open Space Studios, Davigdor Road. Brighton & Hove. We have classes suitable for Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced and Kids Aerial Yoga. Please ensure that you book the level of class suitable for your ability and experience.

Level 1 & 2: Beginners & Improvers
This friendly non-competitive class accommodates our absolute beginners (level 1) and also our Improvers (level 2)
Come and stretch and chill and hang out!
Slow, Steady, No pressure!
The class is designed to allow our students to take the time to gradually build the confidence, flexibility and strength to be able to enjoy a regular aerial yoga practice.
This class will cover all of the foundations of Aerial Yoga.
We will…
cover many accessible and familiar yoga stretches using the hammocks for support
build the class gradually to include some easy inversions to decompress the spine.
take the inversions slowly, step by step with full guidance and support throughout.
Level 1
Students will be given moderations when required.
Level 2
Students will be offered progressions to add a little challenge when they are ready.
Level 2 students must attend a minimum of 20 hours practice and must be confident with all of the foundations covered in this class before moving to a level 3 class.
Lastly, you are rewarded with a long and restful Savasana. If you haven’t experienced a Savasana in a hammock before, then you’re in for a treat!
This is a fun and safe class. You will listen to your body and practise within your own limits. Safety and happiness first.
Level 3 & 4: Intermediate & Advanced
This more challenging class is for students who have the required competence and confidence with their inversions and hip hangs to allow for faster and longer flows.
Level 3
Height /climbs will be introduced with positions such as Catchers Climb with the appropriate progressions/ flows.
All foundations will now have been mastered and will be progressed. More sequences are introduced.
Familiar postures will be verbally cued.
Physical spotting/ assistance only offered when required.
Crash mats will be used for all positions of height.
Pranayama intensity will increase.
Students must attend a minimum of 20 hours practice and must be confident with all of the foundations covered in the Level 2 class before moving to a level 3 class.
Level 4
The advanced level will follow the same sequencing and flows as level 3 and will be offered progressions when appropriate.
